Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET)
Introduction
The Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET) is a qualifying examination for admission into MCA ( Master of Computer Application) and MBA ( Master of Business Administration) courses offered by Universities in Andhra Pradesh and their affiliated Colleges. ICET is conducted by any one University in Andhra Pradesh on behalf of Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE). Generally the chance of conducting ICET Examination will be given on a rotation basis by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
A mere qualifying of ICET examination does not guarantee a seat in any university / college. The candidate may have to submit an application form and meet the requirements of the university to get admission. The admission notification will be released by individual universities few days after the release of ICET Results.

Eligibility
MBA – The candidates should have passed a Bachelor’s Degree Examination of not less than three years duration from any recognized University or equivalent there of besides passing SSC or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects. The candidates who are appearing for the final year degree examination shall also be eligible to appear for ICET
A pass (or) appearance at the final year examination of Bachelor’s Degree (except BOL and BFA) of any University in Andhra Pradesh or any other university recognized as equivalent thereto.
The candidates should be Indian Nationals and should satisfy local/non-local status requirements laid down in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulations of Admission) order, 1974 as amended upto date (As per G.O. Ms No : 108, Higher Education Dept., dated 30-7-2005).
The candidates other than Indian nationals should satisfy the rules of the Universities concerned.
Admission into any college depends on its recognition/affiliation by the respective Statutory Bodies.
Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into MBA/MCA course unless the candidate :
- appears before the ‘on-line counselling’ at any of the counselling centers as notified.
satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority concerned
Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) is a state-level entrance exam conducted by University. It is conducted for admission to various post-graduate courses in the field of Teaching, Commerce, Science, Humanities, Management, etc offered by the Universitis and colleges affiliated with Universities.

PGCET Eligibility Criteria
PGCET eligibility Criteria as issued by the Directorate of Admission Andhra University are mentioned below:
Nationality and Domicile
- Candidates must be a citizen of India.
- Candidate should belong to the Andhra Pradesh state and must hold a valid proof of the state’s residency as subsequently amended in the Andhra Pradesh State, Educational Institutions 1974.
Educational Qualifications
- Candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board as equivalent to as Andhra University with minimum 50% marks (45% for reserved categories).
- Candidates who have appeared/appearing for their final year Degree examination only are eligible.
Age Limit
- There is no age limit to appear for AUCET
- The maximum eligible age to apply for a fee reimbursement for reserved classes (SC/ST) is 34 and for EBC/Minorities/Disabled candidates is 30 years.
Mere qualification in the entrance test does not entitle a candidate to have been admitted into PG course unless the candidate :
- i) appears before the ‘on-line counselling’ at any of the counselling centres as notified.
ii) satisfies all the eligibility conditions of admission stipulated by the authority concerned
